Challenges are journal prompts to help you think and feel differently about yourself. Although these exercises are all about being loving and kind to yourself, many people find it a challenge! We are so used to shaming our actions, ignoring our needs, undermining our worth and rejecting ourselves, we find it difficult to do. But gets easier with practice until it becomes our natural way of thinking. With affirmations and challenges, we can rewire the neurons in our brains - and change our futures!
Unconditional Self-Love
How do you skimp on loving yourself unconditionally, just like your Higher Power loves you?
Where are you still holding onto shame and need to forgive yourself? The more shame you hold onto the less you are able to love yourself.
Are you on the lookout for insidious shame and ready to kick it to the curb and affirm that you are a shame-free person, living a shame-free life?
Do you know and affirm that you are allowed to make mistakes and learn as you grow? Mistakes are a normal part of life and there is no reason to feel toxic shame. You are a beautiful, perfectly imperfect woman.
Authentic Attention
In reviewing the “Top 10 Basic Needs” of giving yourself AUTHENTIC ATTENTION, where are you neglecting to take the very best care of yourself possible? How can you improve upon this?
Do you know you are totally worthy of taking care of your needs to the highest and best level so that you can thrive and live your optimal life?
Are you on the lookout for insidious unworthiness?
Meaningful Validation
Are you well on the path to becoming your own best friend and greatest source of support by giving yourself meaningful validation?
Do you know what the most important validations are to give yourself so that you can feel your very best every single day?
Are you on the lookout for insidious self-criticism?
Do you write your affirmations, post them throughout your house, office, car, etc.?
Total Self-Acceptance
Are you mindful of your goal to stop beating yourself up, be gentle with yourself, and practice total self-acceptance?
Are you aware of your inner bully and its insidious self-judgment and replace its damaging words with those that are loving, gentle and kind?
